CondolenceA Story by StacyIn memory of my grandma Anne.On May 17, 2008 my grandma decided it was time to leave the hospital and go to a hospice care via the family. She had cheated death with a total of 4 small strokes throughout this earlier year and then 3 major strokes over the course of 2 days just this month.
A tough woman. She was going to die a couple of days before, but she proved everyone wrong and began to eat a little and talk a little.
Then, yesterday at 1:39pm she figured that they took her out of the hospital and got her settled in her private hospice room and she had decided to let go of this life.
Now, my theroy is everyone had their chance to say goodbye, I did it over the phone and told her in the end it was alright to let go. I am betting she didn't want to die in the hospital and hung on for that reason.
No matter what, she shall be seen within the next life that comes around and it shall be a nice sight to see.
