It's flashing lights and jubilee
The sounds all around us
Your hand tightly in mine
The warmth of your embrace leaving a permanent mark
All my senses a buzz in the chaotic world
The security in your touch
The sudden release I've been needing for so long
I am comforted in the silence you provide
You never have to say a word to show your love
Every touch, every kiss a promise in itself
Through the oddities and fascinations we find another link
Building a bond over again too strong for life to break
And here I close my eyes as night
Within my thoughts I have finally found my happiness.
