Are we about to meet little green men?

I believe in extra-terrestrials, and I believe it is highly probable that they know of us.

So why don’t they officially say hello?

I think they may feel threatened by us. I think we might just be that crazy kid in the school yard with no friends.

The probability of other intelligent life evolving elsewhere in the known universe is as close to 100% as you can measure. Billions of galaxies with trillions of suns and planets, you get the picture.

And many of these “other” intelligent life forms would have acquired their intelligence long before us, and I’m talking many millions of years before us.

To successfully survive for such a period of time one must have evolved peacefully, many extra-terrestrials probably don’t even have a word for war.

So again, why don’t they say hello?

Well if you had a new neighbour move in next door and one of the first things he did, when he was capable was to put up a defensive umbrella designed to kill you, would you go over and say hello?

No? Neither would I.

I didn’t always believe that extra terrestrials were capable of interaction with us. I thought that if all known elements and molecular structures were predictable in behaviour and the basic laws of the known universe were understood by us already then it would be too troublesome for extra-terrestrials to travel to planet earth. The distances involved to the nearest solar systems are crazy enough.

I DID believe that until recently. Things have changed with the discovery of the particle that is believed to give mass, the progressive work being done with the Higgs-Boson theory.

To acquire the ability to manipulate mass is huge. When we work out how to do it other intelligent life-forms might be forced to say hello, good luck with their reception though.

Mastering the Higgs-Boson will be like giving the keys to the car to a teenager who lives in a remote part of Australia and has only ever met his own family.

Ever since I was young I have been fed the idea of extra-terrestrial life. The methods used have been art, that being movies, shows, stories, advertising, pictures and books. Unfortunately however the overwhelming message has been one of a hostile attitude. Provocative words such as “invasion” are commonly used and most of the creatures look scary.  Extra-terrestrials have been dubbed “aliens” and we have been taught to fear them.

So why are we doing this?

Does the answer lie in the way we evolved? Maybe.

We did evolve from primates who have relied on two fundamentals to survive. The first being survival of the fittest and the second being the consequences of trial and error. Admittedly these two traits probably have shaped us into a naturally defensive creature.

And I find it a bit weird that the creatures on this planet have evolved using each other as fuel?  Wouldn’t it have been a more natural path to utilise our surrounding fuels?

Are these the reasons why we are so defensive towards our distant neighbours, or is there something more sinister at play?

Think about this, who has the most to lose from new technologies?

Who runs the world?

Do some simple research and it’s not hard to find that there are a small group of united and amalgamated companies & banks that hold the ultimate power over the world economies. When the people who run these companies meet they pretty much decide how we live our lives.

These companies own much of the media that matters, both news and art. They own the pharmaceutical companies that control our collective health. They supply weaponry to the militaries. They have a monopoly over basic necessities and fuels. They own transport. They own patents which cripple our access to more efficient technologies and cleaner energy.

My point is our views and values are shaped by these people and I think they might be trying to protect their power.

The people who run the show teach us how to think and are clever marketers. They work on our natural instincts to mate, hunt and horde. They mould us into competitive creatures who desire material possession and beauty above all else.

We have become their puppets. They control us by knowing what we like.

Extra-terrestrials can free us from these people with technologies that could see an end to all the suffering on earth. We could all be living so much better than we are right now. But the people who run the planet don’t want this to happen. They are incredibly selfish people who are addicted to their power.

When George Bush’s US military introduced satellite weaponry to take out UFO’s and the like why did the majority of people not appose?

They told us the satellites were put there to stop terrorists, yeah right.

I’ll give you a possible answer, hardly anyone stood up because the people who control the world have taught us to think of extra-terrestrial believers as nutters.

It looks as if they are prepared to start a war with our peaceful neighbours just to save their grip on the world. Quite incredible really, but somewhat understandable when you look back over our twisted evolution.

I believe we have neighbours, please be on your best behaviour if they come knocking.

PS. The Higgs-Boson work may take another 100years to master so don’t get too excited just yet.

Tony this sounds like the book jacket to a very interesting book. The whole conspiracy theory and such. It could be written by an Alien already hear. Or someone working on the Higgs-Boson project that finds road block today were there -were none yesterday. Or better yet by the Main man/woman at the head of those who are actually in power over us, or someone close to them. This has a lot of potential. As fore Grammar and punctuation, I haven't got a clue. Keep writing!
