Because you helped me see that there's more to life

More than screaming voices

More than hard choices

More then angry noises

You have to believe me there's more to life

More than strife's

More than another sleepless night

More than selfish desires

And heartless liars

I don't know what it's like for you

But I remember what it was like for me

It was like hell playing a symphony

A symphony that could only be heard by me

because it was ripping out my heart

It was like I couldn't breathe

Like death had it's clutch on me

Like it was grabbing my throat and slowly began to squeeze

But please don't forget that there's more to life

So don't you dare live it out for a knife
