A Poem by Samuel Robert Sands

If i could capture my heart i'd put it in a bottle and that's where it would stay,
to remedy an illness if  ever one day

If i could freeze time id write the date, so incase of bad it wouldn't be too late

If i could see me from a distant view,  i'd watch over closely while dropping a clue

But if i couldn't do anything but live out till the end, then at my demise id ask of it again.

Ah, if only we could freeze time and tell our hearts it is never too late. An introspective philosophical write. I enjoyed it. Lydi**
