It all takes courage to do

A leave from work,

To place myself well,

In a corner,

Before I break,

Myself into pieces.

 

A day away from people,

Letting my voice free,

Shouting all my pain out,

Chilling with loneliness,

Before bursting into tears.

 

With a book sitting aside,

Keeping away from people,

Trying to stay normal,

Calmly going with the flow,

Waiting for things to change.

 

Counting the stars,

Alone on the terrace,

Lost in my own world,

Listening to music,

It all takes courage to do.
