Nature's Miracles

Rain makes my heart melt and words flow :)

At the onset of monsoon
The view from the windowsill
Outside my room
a sight to behold,
A view to kill.

Trees that once stood tall
Swirl around sylphlike
Their svelte bodies to the rhythm
Of the melodious music of rain
The lissom moves of their branches
Take me back to the opulent ballroom dances.

The leaves, dry and green
Now drenched in liquid sunshine
Rejuvenated with the essence of time.

Aromas of the alluvium
Permeate the air
Mist surrounds the atmosphere.

Sounds of silence impregnate
The night acts catalyst
For a million thoughts that lay
Captive in my mind.

For tonight, isn't just
About the fervor of the skies
It's about the love in my heart
And the dreams in my eyes.

The lavish rain didn't just beautify the trees,
But the drizzle has also, set me free.
