MosaicA Poem by Sri05
I, should know
Who I am by now. I know somehow, the I, that once was. Varied hues, a melange A million splinters of kaleidoscopic glass Formed a mosaic. I walk, the winding roads They narrow downtown It's February and I inquest For a vision, a sound Of your November mist Take me back to who I was A million splinters Of kaleidoscopic glass. I tour, the dark alley The lights have gone down But they're fast asleep While I'm on my odyssey Looking for an alibi Who'll confess knowing me For who I am, a mirage A million splinters of kaleidoscopic glass. Memories concoct, Pasts metamorphosize Into the archaic A million splinters many That brew into one Forming a mosaic. © 2013 Sri05Author's Note
