A woman- that i dream to be....

The admire a woman, who is accomplished by her ownself and winner in her own world. The one who is modern with traditional roots in her heart.

Blissful mind,

Pure in the heart ,

Fighter in the crises,

Sacrifice be her art ,

Creation is her magic ,

Magical is her journey!!!!…..

She is a mother , who brings us to the life; a sister , who fights with us and loves us all the time ; a daughter, who seems like complete world in our hands; a wife , who walks miles with us as our soul; a friend , who guides us on the right path. She is a homemaker , who upgrades a house into home; she is a leader, who takes the company to the top. From kitchen to office and from broom to pen , she has mastered all her tools and equipments so well that no other person can take up her job. Every job she does is her trademark.

On this women’s day , it won’t be wrong that I felt like a woman for the first time. A woman who is responsible for the better future we all dream off. Listening to some success stories of some great ladies , I felt that how small and weak we ladies play in the name of our gender. That was disheartening to have realise that how we have accepted the fact that I am a women , and I am meant to be weak. How can we say that she is women, even after that she made it to the board of directors! As said by the CEO of Facebook Sherlyn Sandburg ” after some time, there will be just leaders , and no female leaders ” . Now that is called being a women. True feminism doesn’t ask us to always fight for the rights of weak women, it asks us to stand up being a person who is equal to males and realising that in every matter we are equal and there is no difference in our strengths and weaknesses on the basis of gender. A world minus gender discrimination is required and not the world where women should be kept as a queen always.

It is saddening to see that we women in the name of feminism , are so busy in fighting the dominant male clan, that we start using our rights in a wrong way. If we are standing in a metro and a guy is sitting in front of us, we are like ” how can this guy be seated, if we girls are standing, such an ill mannered person he is “. What ?! In one place we ask for equality, and then we ask males to treat us like a flower always. Can’t they be as much tired as we are. Don’t they deserve a seat like we do ?!..They do . False rape cases and molestation charges are not new to us. And this all makes me feel disgusted about womanhood and feminist community.

So this women’s day, as a responsible woman and a citizen of a developing country ,I want all of us to realise true essence of being a women and to play our roles in the development and upliftment of world and our nation . The growth should be cumulative of our personal and the for community as a whole.:)
