Beautiful, perfect, inimitable star

Beautiful, perfect, inimitable star

A Poem by Sri Gawn Tu Fahr
"

What many call the comfort zone doesn't really feel that good. Crawl out of that hole, and go play in the woods.

"
Most things that we know
aren't even worth knowing,
it's all pomp, and glamor,
wicked lies mind is throwing.
The ego's all shiny,
all sparkly, and bright
as it spews forth sweet lies,
turning day into night.
The bigger the better,
no losing, just win,
we must have it all,
there's no thought about sin,
as we dig ourselves deeper,
and forget who we are,
beautiful, perfect, inimitable star.

Take a man a lifetime to appreciate the real things in his life. Can't take anything with you. Your toys and possessives will be left over for other people. Better to enjoy the birth of a new day. Watch the stars come out with someone special. A outstanding poem. Thank you.

I love how you incorporated your title in your poem. I don't know why but I love when that happens! Really gives credit to the title! It's like the coat of a poem and you want to see what is being sold in the inside pockets!
BEAUTY.

This reminds of the book A New Wolrd by Eckhart Tole.

We do forget who we really are and what we really want amidst all the nonsense around us...a very good way of portraying it..enjoyed it.

I love the message of this poem; we drown ourselves in a world of the superficial and materialist. We lose ourselves by trying to be better than others, being selfish, not valuing what's really important in life. Love it :)
