Rebooting the Internal Heart

Though our skins might heal
All our wounds might take in some pain
You can’t compare what our hearts feel
And the blood being pumped into our veins

Words at times might hurt
Especially from whom they come
Its sad to hear that they won’t revert
Like a reliable double jointed thumb

We learn to forgive
We learn to accept
The fact that we have to relive
And give it one last attempt

Even if were hurt and down
From that knife jammed into our hearts
Even if we feel that were not loved
We must forgive, reload, and restart

I like this. Makes you wonder about what has happen in are lives. If we can start over again. reboot to a new screen, or a new life. either way we have to go through it. Then will see if we can reboot later.
Thank you.

Even if were hurt and down
From that knife jammed into our hearts
Even if we feel that were not loved
We must forgive, reload, and restart... So true, life is just like this. Forgiveness can be easier said than done but if we can find it within ourselves, then we are that much closer to being free ...

Nicely penned...
