Look into the cracked mirror
I want to get nearer
Because I see more than a reflection
I see beauty as a projection
And though it may be broken
It’s as if an angel has spoken
It’s as real as the shards cutting me
I can’t let this angel be
She’s trapped inside and suffering
She’s a beauty with a broken wing
But the mirror reflects her grace
This is an angel out of place
I look inside and see strength
I look inside and see love
I look inside and see honesty
Passion, drive, care, conviction, bravery, boldness
Her values make quite a list
Her accomplishments persist
So when you look into this mirror
You’ll see a proud angel clear
