You lay in the bed you make

just how my mood was earlier

"You lay in the bed you make, but what if the bed you make is not for you but you make it for those you care most about so that way they are comfortable to wake up to their own struggles and don't need to worry about having somewhere where their mind has nothing to worry about but when the bed you want to sleep on is occupied or unmade because the last person to use it didn't clean up their mess so you sleep on the floor in hopes to wake up to a nearly folded blanket, to find it has been taken with the pillow. Crying is all you have left and still you are incapable of shedding a tear because you know deep down that you have make the bed once again, but now a pillow and blanket must be bought to keep someone else from being cold as your nose freezes as you sniffle back the icicles that now hang from a sunken dark face that doesn't want to look into a mirror knowing it is the person in the mirror who took the blanket and hid it trying to show the person looking into the mirror is now blind taking a spoon to give his eyes for someone else to see and a tongue for someone to speak so your words are not accompanied by the silence that comes with giving up the ears so someone could hear the words of an unspoken pain of someone who gave up feelings to hide them to stay strong for those still being held by hands that cannot carry anymore wait pockets bled dry to make sure there is water to flow to make a path for people to get through when traffic is too heavy and still you try to make sure you don't get mad because everything you gave will never come back."
