Ash Wednesday

A Poem by SquinklaPsyOps

Dear Father God

Rub your ashes on my forehead in a sign of a cross

To remind me of your Son Jesus Christ

As I repent of all the sins I have commited

I continue this period of spiritual discipline

Clean my thoughts and make me an Arch Angel

Where I promise to always push to hell all demons and lost ghosts

In the Name Of Your Son Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit

I kneel in front of You and Your Son

Amen

It is a nicely written poem SquinklaPsyOps.
I practice a faith that is very much different from yours.
If you can spare some time, please do read about Sikhism and try to learn about its principles.
It might be a difficult for you to understand this faith, as it evolved in a completely different part of the world.
You will be surprised to know that we do not believe in the existence of the Satan and neither of those of the angels.
For us, the Satan is our mind only which is detached from the omnipresent and all powerful God, who created both good and evil according to His own divine will. Those rare but blessed souls who succeed in connecting to the Lord are the real angels.

I will be visiting your page to review and interpret your writings.
A nice prayer, and while It is doubtful that any sinful moral would ever be elevated to the status of angel or Archangel (and Hebrews 1: 5-14 show that the faithful in Christ will hold positions HIGHER than the angelic host) it is a devout prayer of empowerment and sanctification.
