People like you

People like you

A Poem by Mr. Waldo
"

This is a fresh one based on some advice from a friend on just "puking on paper" for the sake of practice.

"

Brothers and sisters

Ladies and gentlemen

We thank you for your cooperation

Without all of you this couldn’t be done

We finally did it

We finally won

It is thanks to everyone

 Our goal was accomplished

Complete conformity

All without a fight

The Television told you what to buy

The music told you to dance

The schools said what to think

You never had a chance

And now they sit in deep dark holes

Dug with their own devices

Begging,

No screaming

For just one look at the spotlight

So we give out a shout for our cause is noble

Swift as a mouse-click minus the control

For the greatest advantage to our conformity

Is that people like you pull the strings

I like this, it's well written and the layout is perfect! The last stanza did it for me though, great work! :)
