Forever

Forever

A Poem by Marissa
"

A release of my innermost feelings.

"

Sweating brow

Trembling lip

Clenching fist

Hurried breath

Trying

Trying

Moonlight drowns my pen

My hand moves of its own free will

My soul paints a picture

A picture of love

A letter for you

You, to understand

Understand what I went through

Through hell and back

Back to where I am now

Now I am struggling

Struggling to convey my thoughts

Trying

Trying

I wish I met you before her

She who was my best friend

I felt a passion towards you

A passion left unnoticed

I loved you first

Yet you did not see

She stole your heart

And mine was shattered

My heart bled

And you did not notice

I tried to smile

Tried to hide

Hide this pain

Oh, this wretched pain!

...Lost you...

I lost you...

But she was with another man

Tricked you with adultery

I would've gave you the moon

Even if you didn't ask for it

You're broken

And now you're in pain

And I'm here now

Yet you cannot see

But I promise you

I'll be by your side

Watching

Shielding

Protecting

Forever loving.

Forever, an obsession. when love is the domination of one's thoughts,
the feelings of persistent idea, image, desire succeed in capturing
the heart with lulling effect and adoration, balanced with uncertainty,
this has a soft, electric flow of passion, brilliantly rendered :)

About
I love to read and I occasionally like to write poems and such. When I have a really crazy dream, I try to write a story about it. It's this little hobby I like to do! I'm an incredibly silly person! .. more..
