How to turn 23

How can we say we know what direction we are all heading towards? How much of us really have the answer..to life,love and happiness? Is our age a reflection of how we are supposed to be,or is it an accumulation of bad moments that deem us mature. As a matter of fact,there cannot be just one way to get older, there are too many aspects,too many complications...too many restrictions and limitations. For each birthday we are supposed to celebrate and be joyous,yet what exactly are we supposed to do? Besides the cake and extra calories,those once a year greetings and false expectations for being a new person. Are we really ready to handle our lives or is it fate bestowing its confidence in our potential.As young adults we are the sum total of how many series we binge on and how active our social media profile is. We´ve become conditioned to be perfect in the virtual world,loving to someone who does not deserve it and tolerant to all the job offers we have been rejected. Straight out of university,there is the grand assumption that we are ready for the world,when in reality,the world is not ready for us,for our hearts,minds and thirst for experience. Turning 23 is just as good as turning any other age,but this one is special cause it can be a time of experience,of life-changing moments,great memories and of course,laughter is a given.

For any confused soul turning 23,I invite you to take a deep breath and remember that life is not meant to be taken too seriously,we just need to enjoy the ride and appreciate the company. Always brindar for wonderful people and moments,because in the in that is all that is really going to matter.If you are out there somewhere around the world,turning 23 and feel broke, not the most sexy and perhaps unemployed,the days will surely get better. Great things take time.We cannot be defined by our weight,money or status,rather our opinions,company and goals.There is no one rule to turning the page and opening a new book.There can be exes,relapses and emotions that complement confusion and depression,nevertheless,in life,there is always our purpose.Smile,dress up and let´s go on a search together!
