It wasn't him

It wasn't him

A Poem by Talesha

We'd all gone out to drink and dance,
It was finished,
Yet it began to start.

Young and handsome,
We began to chat,
Then danced in the appartment,

We laughed and talked,
Then we fell on the mattress.
He kissed me,

So did I..
It had been so long,
Aware it wasn't my love..
It was another,

In a crazy frenzy,
Hot kisses and touches...
Never had I behaved like that.

But I felt wanted,
A love that didn't exist,
It was lust, but oh I enjoyed the kisses.

I turned down more intimacy,
But I asked to caress.
It felt like what was,
With the other..it felt real, yet strange.

My love hasn't spoken to me,
He's moved on,one day I will too.
But I miss our days,
Whilst I enjoyed my first wild escapade.

The next morning,
I saw him and he saw me..
What happened on Saturday night,is just a story.
It wasn't love,
Maybe drunken lust,

I felt guilty,
But I felt loved.
It had been so long,
I'd have devoured him,
But I couldn't..
