Yearning

Yearning

A Poem by Talesha

End my sorrow,
End my pain,
Treat me with love,
Not with disdain.

I fell in love,
I thought you felt the same,
Be a man,
Give me your last name.

I suffer for you day,
I long for you at night,
Wondering when I will hold you,
Waiting with fright.

So many bad moments,
So many good,
You ought to treat me well,
With what I deserve! You really should.

I am a young woman,
But an old soul,
Yearning for your presence,
My precious Colombian gold.
