Soledad

Soledad

A Poem by Talesha

In solitude I think of you,
How you are not here,
How losing you was all I feared.
How a stranger could be so dear.

You have my heart right,
Right from the start, even when we fell apart,
You broke us and you broke me,
After all that,I want you-so clear to me.

I know I have to let you go,
I ought to forget,
Erase our expectations from the day we met.
So helpless,yearning for affection,
Reminiscing on our moments-leaves me breathless.

So this is the love,
Gone,but your presence here,
Rejected and hurt, but I still care,
Dangerously in love with you,I'll never leave,
We'll be together one day,I hope,I pray,I believe.
