Bracelet

I have this band you gave to me,

February 8th I remember,

It came on and off,

But it's here on,in September.

The symbol I treasure,though we've end,

It reminds me you once cared,old friend.

There weren't lies or words to tell,

Just a sincere action,you meant well.

At til this day you mean so much,

Shed tears and yearn your touch.

But I mask with a bit of dignity and pride,

Because you ripped my heart from the inside.

I love this band because it makes me smile,

Its yellow and orange colors,our sunrise.

A part of you is always with me,

Even though you with another I see.

Everything feels frozen in time,

For you it was a past,discarded behind.

But the band helps me everyday,

To remind me,you were not heartless this way.

With it on or off it matters,

Fragments of us,gone and shattered,

The feelings and memories may all fade,

But with this,I have you close to me in someway.
