Must Stop

Must Stop

A Poem by Talesha

I must stop my love,
I must prevent my feelings,
I must stop and give up hope,
I must uplift and not move.

I must stop thinking..
That anything was real,
That she was fake and concealed,
That I was the real deal.

I must take the bracelets off,
To stop with any meaning.
But my heart sinks,
As I look at the ceiling.

A fool I had been,but not a regret,
A love I lost,with destiny I fret.
I must change,or find away,
Else my love for you makes me deranged.

I must believe what the others say..
Some come for months, others just for days.
I must remember to forget,
That you love her and I shan't be upset.

I must stop to live and think,
There can't be another connection,
Nor a better link.
Just a man who makes my heart sink.

 I must stop,because it's only me.
Your smile with her..but only my tears I see.
I must stop with my own pain,
I must stop to look in disdain.

Must stop,just to breathe,
To avoid asking,"what if we did succeed?"
Must learn to be cold and alone,
If not,my love for you will wither my bones.
