What happened?

I don't know.

I reflect on this,

All moments,

They come and go.

 

A decision not of wise,

Provoking its own demise.

Why, there may be some regret,

Soaked pillow, tears and sweat.

 

It wrecks of solitude-

Of so much more,

The burning thought,

How was life before?

Before you entered...

Before you left.

 

How your name on my lips,

Palpitates on my chest.

It's different and difficult,

It's all we know...

why is it now,

All so hard to let go.

 

 

I accept what happens,

There's not much of a choice.

To end us?

Could not have allowed...

Simply listened to my inner voice.
