Lovers' First TimeA Poem by Talesha“The real lover is the man who can thrill you by kissing your forehead or smiling into your eyes or just staring into space.” ― Marilyn Monroe“I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you simply, without problems or pride: I love you in this way because I do not know any other way of loving but this, in which there is no I or you, so intimate that your hand upon my chest is my hand, so intimate that when I fall asleep your eyes close.” ― Pablo Neruda, 100 Love Sonnets The first time, They hugged and passionately kissed. Give themselves to each other? Well aware that love was a risk. They held hands, Took off all their clothes, Caressed each other in a standing pose. They hugged each other, dark silence. Room over looking the sea, Staring at each other, Silhouettes -they could only see. Not a word they spoke. The soft breathes one could hear, Bellowing kisses from mouth to ear. They remained standing,no need to go in bed. For once in their life, everything was left unsaid. The moment was his,the moment was hers, Holding each other, nude, more intimate- Than sex,so they supposed. Bodies propped. Heart beat racing, Soft lips, each other facing, They had the rest of life to be impure, But tonight was the night for hearts to soar. Exposed to each other,in and out, Romantically involved by soul, Both had no doubt. It was the first time their bodies touched Love weakened them, used each other as a safety clutch. © 2014 TaleshaReviews
