Cup of teaA Poem by Talesha“Some people will tell you there is a great deal of poetry and fine sentiment in a chest of tea.” ― Ralph Waldo Emerson, Letters and Social Aims
Rainy night,
Lips pursed on the china, Isolated, but never alone Luminous stars, Fiery heat burns. The fierceness of her smile, Indulging in her pleasures, So exhilarating, she feels so vile, Awakening her desires, Giving her comforts, Surely, her cup of tea. Closes her eyes, Intoxicated by its smell, Heat streams through her pores, Realement,ce un moment irréelle Brings it closer to her mouth for a taste, She gulps, surrendering without haste. Rain pours, Heat intensifies, Her stress melts in tea. It was a long day, But a shorter night, Sitting outside her pane, Indulging by the stars so bright.
