Fairy-tailsA Poem by Hallow
And that's all, that's it
We never did quite fit. Like water and oil, Such a sad spoil. Alas, she speaks again A nag to no sweet end. My head hurts so much At your vacant touch. But you complete me so In ways she can't know. Like a moth to a flame Simply, one in the same. The talking and mocking In my mind is so shocking. She says all that I've found Is like ash to the ground. Brimstone and dark fire Will cleanse out the liar. But, I worry the garden, Will ignite without pardon. When she's far far away, My hopes can come play. We can plot in the silence, No surrender to violence. © 2024 Hallow |
