Figure 8

Figure 8

A Poem by Hallow

Again and again
Over and over
The loop has no end

There is no finish
There is no start
All hope will diminish

Claw to the top
Claw from the dirt
The loop has no stop

Crest the hill
Down the valley
The truth a bitter pill

A sun so bright
Warmth and comfort
Such a rare delight

A sparkle of hope
A ray of cheer
No loop, we can cope

Sun rays and cool rain
Thunder and wind
A sharp, sudden pain.

Again and again
Over and over
The loop has no end

some days it feels like i'm caught in a loop where the hurt leaves me for a second but then comes straight back. it seems infinite, but from personal experience i can sometimes go many months without hitting that low. so i live for those few months in a year and it's not the life i dreamed of, but it's not nothing.

I hope to get to even that point one day. One day.
