PerspectivesA Poem by Hallow
An angel appears to me,
They're a sweet, summer soul. The angel is here for me, To bring me out of my hole. The angel is sweet, The angel is kind. So, please, hear me out What is wrong with my mind? The angel morphs into fear, An omen of blight and despair. I see nothing kind or sweet Demonic tongues lick the air. Open and close, my eyes a portal What should I see? The angel, It's outline blurred by brimstone Claws hidden to mangle. I cannot tell what is real anymore Angel or demon, nothing is clear. Isolation is my new friend Intrusive thoughts I hold dear. © 2024 HallowAuthor's Note
