Like the Mother

Like the Mother

A Poem by Leon Agnew
"

Mud is like water.

"
She is like the mother
And I am like the child
Punish me
Pleasure me
Leave me so
Defiled

No matter what the hour
She stands ungodly tall
Break me
Hate me
You love it
When I fall

To her, mud is like water
And blood is simply stew
Need you
Crave you
I'd do it all for you

Save me, Jesus Christopher
My love is like a god
Despise you
Resprise you
My hoof is
Faintly shod
