I remember watching the preacher man perform illusions from his pulpit of make believe he told us stories about living life as a lamb in a world full of wolves that are hunted by the endangered bald eagle from above
Do you really think I believe that God intended for me to hurt when his only begotten son took all illness and sin from this earth?
My Mother died from lung cancer commercials say smoking does that My Grandfather died from congestive heart failure professionals say excessive drinking causes this If this is true then why are both these products still available on local store shelves?
Why? because...
your just another carbon unit working to pay on your slave taxes a living debt that we pass on to our children every child born is born owing the government 800 large their bill to be called an American
Now do you understand why at times illegal immigrants piss me off they get the benefit without owing a thing we can't take care of our own and I am tired of taking care of yours
but my faith says it is still my responsibility so I give with a smile and love in my heart still my brain isn't dumb people are get over artists from the perpetual welfare clients to the wealthy who claim insurance fraud
didn't they tell you about America?
we're the original gangsters a melting pot with a whole lot of guns and atomic bombs for fools who try us
ask the one's who have messed with us
We found Saddam in a hole put him on trial in his own country then hung him live on the internet
we put a bullet in Bin Laden's head straight mafia now he'll never have his day in court the war on terror continues empty victories for our fallen heroes of 9/11
Don't let me start preaching about Regan, Bush, Clinton and Obama homeland security would put 3 hot ones in my chest
So put on your Sunday best get on your knees and pray to God give praise and honor to his name preach to me how I am going to hell while you dance on the grave of the evil dead then tell me how how is that an eye for eye ended with the birth and death of Jesus and how vengeance is mine saith the Lord and today we celebrate murder in the first degree
That's right we're the good guys jolly green giants that rule the earth and all others are evil doers
Tell Mr. Preacher man is this the America that God is pleased with? does he see us as living in his son's name explain to me again how we should live as a lamb
a resounding and nonreligious AMEN!!! to every word within this revelatory poetic from the pouting lips of this failing Buddhist~ you nailed it to its own cross~ altruism in tatters~ ambiguity rules the modern day~ what a shambles we have permitted to take root~ bravo to your courage~ your honesty and the wildly captivating force with which you turn that mirror on us all~ BRAVO!
I read this earlier but had to run, so I have come back to it to give a heartfelt review. Religion and Politics seems to be a popular topic, one I write on often, but I don’t like to mix the two. Brave you are my friend. I cannot comment on other religions, because I am not well enough educated on the subject, but I believe there are two laws we must follow, God’s law first and foremost, and then man’s law. Did Osama and Saddam deserve to die, by man’s law yes, and by God’s law they will be judged on judgment day. I know there is so much corruption in our government, and some could argue that certain political leaders have used government to achieve personal gain and caused many deaths in the process; they too on judgment will have to answer to God, I don’t know what He will say, but we all will have to answer someday to God’s law, or at least this is what I believe. I wish man would hold these men to the same standards that they send our young men and women out to fight and die for to achieve and spread to other countries, but at this point in time the people are not demanding it. Turing the other cheek to corruption as long as it doesn’t immediately affect them, blind to the fact that it will come back and haunt them down the road. “Am I my brother’s keeper?” Are my brothers only the few who live in my country? I hope we as a Nation bring more good than bad in world, but I guess that one is up to God to judge as well…
I love this because you captured what it means to be American;speak out against what you think is wrong! I think, when it comes down to it, politics and religion are hypocritical in their own ways, and when you mix the two together it becomes even more complicated. It's all about finding that balance between what you believe in and what your country believes in. Great write :)
I hate to say this but history has taught me that from the git go all established religion and government is hypocritical out for it's own grandisment some are worse some are better than others they preach love and understanding and then when it doesn't suit the need of the moment well it changes to something else. I suppose it can be laid to the selfisness of mankind in general.
Ever since I was a schoolboy I felt that people in general were "out to get what they could and the devil take the hindermost. Now it is true that the exceptions prove the rule and I have tried to be one of the exceptions to the rule, have I succeeded in my eyes? well let's just say I am still trying. How others preceive my efforts I don't know but I think I have led a decent life if not an exemplatory one. I haven't killed or taken away any one's livilihood
I do not believe in helping my fellow man unless he is blood related or married into the family because all the help I ever got in this world came from family. and I truely believe that God helps those who help themselves and I mean that as it is originally intended not as some wit would have it interpeted.

This is fantastic. I am neither American nor Christian but you have made me feel as though I could be both when I read this, so angry and eloquent and fierce is this :)
I am a free spirit who is extremely open minded and accepting of others differences from my own. I am an open book I find it is much easier living life in the open than hidden lost within the sha.. more..
