I Know What's Missing

I Know What's Missing

A Poem by Spoken

I know what's missing
The Words
The Words
They need to be heard
Quiet!

Can you hear the whisper?
Of course not.
You're silent.
Defiant of what defines
sound
because paper cant speak
no matter how profound
your words may be.

A blank page for whatever reason needs to have life :) So I saw this as a blank canvas waiting to be painted and once the first bit of color was there...... OR it could be that there is NO communication... no exchange, no words..... Either way and even if there was a third reason.... this was very moving and very much like outstretched arms! Bravo

Sssh. I love the sound of silence - more so when expressed in this way.

Your poem made me smile...usually we hear when we are silent, but not in this case. :)

This is one of those pieces that kind of stop you in your tracks.

'Can you hear the whisper?
Of course not.
You're silent.'

If I wasn't silent before, I am now.

Nothing worse then a silent muse, very humorous piece.
