You Are Worthy

You Are Worthy

A Poem by Spoken
"

inspired by coldplay "fix you"

"

When you try and you try try try and things just never seem right
when the tears roll down as you start to cry and you cry cry cry
when it all seems hopeless and lonileness is your only friend
if ever you lose your will for life and the pain is written on your face
when you love something but it goes away
I’ll be there to fill that empty space
lean on me and I’ll carry the weight that burdens you
when your legs get weak one step can feel like a mile
and all the hurt just starts to pile
nothing makes any sense and the fence around your heart is left unguarded
the stars in the sky aren’t as bright as you once knew them to be
there’s something missing
pieces of you that you’ve lost along the way
I’ll sew all night and day to cover the holes that break you
'cause you mean that much to me
and you are worthy

the river flows never knowing any other way
mountains forever climb and in time you will rise again
I can’t say it will be ok
the answer is only as deep as you’re willing to dive
so go on and ride your wave out to sea
find not what you want but what you need
and I’ll leave the light on to guide you home
I am the constant in a world of motion
don’t wander far from the rocks in this ocean
I’ll hold you down
I can make you stronger
please come back to me
please keep fighting
even when you need me no longer
I’ll be here
I’ll be here forever
'cause you are worthy

Wow.. truly powerful words.. especially as we all know that if someone feels unworthy there could be several things in this world that makes them feel that way.. that is pretty honorable to write this to someone if they are feeling down if this is real.. thank you for sharing as I like helping others too.. it's nice to know there are others out there that do care.. :)

Not a fan of coldplay but am a fan of yours and your writing and this is prime example why, your words are that of a selfless heart ready to help a loved one even if they walked away. Sounds like me maybe thats why I love this so much.
