It's a Jungle Out There

It's a Jungle Out There

A Poem by Spoken
"

Can you trust the nature of human beings?

"

I believe your back to be more revealing than your front
I’d stab it if I were half the horrible you project
I had my suspicions at first glance
as I do for everyone who takes a pass
Trust is not a penny a pound
The world is a jungle of animal sounds
And I hear you loud and clear
You are a slither
With a flaky outer skin
You are a lion's roar
Before the pride sets in
And I would no more trust you with my life
As I would nature to always be kind

This write is wonderful and full of questions that should always be posed but at some point in time you have to find that someone that looks like a snake and has the breath of a roaring cat, to find a hidden path. it will bel re-address ...life is full of questions

Many of things and people in this world are symbols to aid us in the whirlwind, nausea of guilt and pain, even if they seem out spoken or not a typicallife gives us avenues that we choose and leave behind, we should always pause and listenmagic doesn't always come with a suit of armor or necktie.
Your write has inspired my next verse, and I find your imagination a world of free spirit, mysteriousmagicalnice write

Yes it is a jungle out there... plenty of snakes, lions and hyenas out there... and this ending

And I would no more trust you with my life
As I would nature to always be kind

that says it all cause yes even nature is not always kind with all the hurricanes and tornados.
A well written vent.

Ewwwww !
"a slither with a flakey skin" ?

Something suspicious about the writer, where I wonder,
is she wanted, and for what ?

I had not thought that demented nature could be turned
against the writer----I`m such a lover!
