A Co-Worker

A Poem by Spoken
"

What I wish I could say to her

"

You glide around on roller skates, so swift and elegant
but the dark cloud circling around you shatters the sun I see
lashing out
words are clearly your weapon of choice
a sharp tongue piercing my enamored shell
perfection a standard you held
I heed this will only lead to disappointment and remorse
when you realize everyone has left you to be alone with your words
open those beautiful brown eyes
I pray you find the flaw that hides
the gem in you

Spoken i think this is the most beautiful poem i have read from you! I am so in love with thost last two lines: "I pray you find the flaw that hides the gem in you." Pure brilliance! Oh how I wish I had thought of that one myself!
