It All Goes According To Plan

The male lead explains how she helps his plan come together... and gets a little dramatic when it comes to what some of his powers are.

Every acceptance letter came back before hers
She seemed quite reluctant to say yes
I could tell by the worried lines on her face that she believed the night wouldn't be the best
I don't understand how she could see that
I showed no signs in the letter explaining she'd be the one
I wasn't even there when she opened it
It could be sensed
The tension in her body
The uneasy feeling in her stomach
Suddenly something...
Or someone soothes her
For I can feel her relax
How randomly it just leaves
Acting as though it was never truly there
Smiling and laughing now
 How i hate feeling that from her
Yet, that will all be over soon enough
On this night I will be at my prime
I can remember the sensations now
The electricity that runs through my veins
The power that makes me feel as though I'm glowing
The movement of my bones
Twisting and turning into the new me
One that is never truly the same
I wish that feeling would never end!
Yet, it will leave and I will return to my normal self
Saddened and alone
Waiting for my next prey
Right now though
It's all going as planned
