The Take Over

The main male character is introduced for his "natural" characteristics.

Every day I can feel myself changing

It gets worse every time

The feeling of my bones moving

My face becoming another's

 Yet, it's not quite as it seems

I have grown used to it

Others believing that I am theirs

Makes me laugh to myself

It reminds me of the naivety in this world

Yet, I know much better

I keep everyone at arms length

Never to truly love or care

Many believe it's not the life to live

But I know better

To love and lose hurts more than anything else

 
I shall haunt your dreams

Reminding of the loss you will feel

Grinning and bearing at your pain

How sweet it feels to me

Feeling the chill of pleasure

That is the one thing that I can say I love

It makes my blood flow
I crave the feeling
How I always want more

Just make sure you look over your shoulder

Do not trust a soul

For they might not be who you think they are

It might be me

Waiting to haunt your dreams
