When the moon begins to rise, new characters are created
Those who were once gone reappear while others....
Well, they seem to slowly fade into the mist
Different reactions
Different feelings
Different.... everything
It all changes with the night
But, how can the moon
In its brilliant whites, creams and oranges turn us inside out?
It's almost as if it tries to show a part of us that was never known before
Oh how it all just changes so quickly
The wind blows us in whirling ways unimaginable to the innocent eyes
Our old selves dance together like ghosts
Letting all others move us
Spinning and twirling
Pulling our old selves away with the force of the bitter cold
Following the hearts we've always had
But, not always noticing
Oh how they come out through the moon
Even eternal feelings may vanish...
Or return
It may start anew
Be kindled under the fading purples and glowing stars
Soon the day returns
Turning to reds, yellows, and oranges
Our ghosts materialize once more
Our true selves fading away
Like the mist that burns out of sight
How we live for the night...
Entangled in our midnight secrets
