The Note

I wrote this in 9th grade with a little inspiration from a sad and rainy day

Roses petals fall silently to the ground
Clear, glistening drops heavily falling beside them
Tears coming from her once bright eyes
Makeup rolls down her cheek from her disbelief in what was told
Thoughts swirling and emotions not even slightly under control
A note is held in her hands
A note that explains it all
Everything that has happened and what will happen in the future
Something gleams in the corner of her eye
Cold hard metal touches her heart, never actually piercing
Yet in the end, all that is left of her is the note... her one and only dream
I love you, always and forever.
Please remember this.
Remember me
Never let it leave your mind.
I want to be with you, by your side holding onto you and never letting go.
You are my everything in this world so never leave me all alone.
Rose petals reform into one bright red flower
I give you this rose to show my love
Even as it withers my love will stay just as strong as the rose was at its finest hour.
No matter what.
Don't you ever forget that I love you.
Always and forever.
the one you love
I never will forget it.
But will you?
