For ThompsonA Poem by SpliffSpiritFor my dead cousin....
When I last saw you,
Life was in your smile, Beauty was in your eyes, And your sun was in the sky, When I last saw you, You knew no pain, There were no anger and regrets, And the love you gave was your only gain, When I last saw you, There were no tears, You were always optimistic, And you had no reason to fear, When I last saw you, You had your head up high, There was no reason to die, But every moment to savor like fresh baked pie, When I last saw you, I defined love, I defined trust, I found all in you, When I last saw you, Your eyes were open, But when those beautiful eyes got shut, I did not see you. © 2013 SpliffSpiritAuthor's Note
