Remember

A Poem by Hope

An old lyric/poem I wrote a while back, I had been going through a fight with a friend and this came to mind.

Can you surrender from this war?

Can we be friends or should we start over?

We'd stick together like good times

Or we can fight until the end

Remember the memories we've had together

Remember the times we've spent together

And the battles we've fought together

You're not my enemy

You're not my friend

But this chain holds us together as one

This is no game

Win or lose

We all have our rights

We all have our wrongs

But each path will lead to an end

In this time

You, my friend, are more than a friend

We'll stick together 'till the end

That's what sisters are for

Author's Note

I decided to make it short. This is dedicated to one of my best friends, we had been through many fights, and every time we'd fought I couldn't handle it not being by her side, and no matter who's fault it was, we'd always forgive and forget.
Because she's like a sister to me.

ok review: i thought it was great! it was real, too, not all fake and dumb like some.(not that all fake ones are dumb, but alot are) i also like how in one line you started with the same word as the one before, and used similar words throughout the rest of the line. it wasn't very hard to understand either! overall, a great piece!
