I read a book once it was alright. I mean - the story had all the parts beginning middle end. In The Beginning... there was darkness and then, well, I got a little lost all the begats,
and all the guilt, the revenge, the lust. near the middle there was this man he seemed so.. Perfect. Of course, they killed him and no easy death no, no. Heroes you see have to die martyrs.
The End - well, It was dark, and full to the brim of flames, lies, death. Rules, and threats prophecies and consequences. No resolution - just a resolute sadness a certainty we would fail. Imagine my surprise
when they told me - after, of course, that this story was about a Kind and Loving god.
This could get to be a touchy topic. I am a spiritual person, and I do believe in god/s. So this is not a "god-hating" poem by any means. :) Your thoughts?

I enjoyed the read, and have to say that these thoughts or questions expressed are on the tips of many tongues. Without delving into this subject with a variance of depth, because it is so touchy, I will just say this, I think the love comes through the forgiveness.
Interesting and truly creative poem about "The Book" of all books. Yes this is one of those subjects that can explode any seconds but to me part of poetry is to speak out and to say the unsaid and not hide ones thoughts out of fear of what others may think or portray to be. This is why I love freedom of speech so much. Nice job and a brave poem Spitfiregrrrr :)

I've been coming and going from here for a while now. I'll just... stop writing for a while and step away, then come back for a little while. :) It's been lots of fun reading all the new stuff from.. more..
