Reflections

A Poem by SpitfireGrrrl
"

Just trying to get back in the swing

"

I thought I saw you..

You were chasing a shadow
that meant the Beginning.
Or was it the end? I can't...
Can't remember.

My knees are scabbed over
From every Fall from grace.
I toppled that pedestal
that you were so fond of
placing me on.
Remember?
I never got that balance right-
It was always a little Too high.
Or I was a little too High,
I just don't remember.

I know the fall always felt good
that bright flash of pain
that would bring reality back to me
in a warm, vibrant rush of
Heat.

I would run, and you would find me

Bind ME.

Again, and then there’d be
one

more

Fall.

Because you Thought you saw me, too.

But we were just our own reflections.

I can relate to this piece because in relationships were always learning from each other good and bad as long as we grow as one it’s all good.
Excellent write.

Hey there! :D

I would check on your capitalization, unless you wanted to give those words the added importance of your repeated tauntings of the male species. I like this, I think we can relate to this, the playful, yet serious testings of our other halves.
