Trigger Happy

Trigger Happy

A Poem by SpitfireGrrrl

breathe in, breathe out..
sight, Little Girl
both eyes open
squeeze the trigger
never pulling
never blinking

breathe in, breathe out
sight down!
Little Girl, you know!
know what to do
squeeze the trigger
never pulling
never blinking

breathe In

breathe Out

sight down, squeeze slow
Daddy taught you,
Little Girl, all the
Right things
never pull
never blink

stay steady Little Girl
you were Made for this.

You are officially one of my favorite poets! Your titles are wonderful as well as your fantastic poetry. This one resounds deep down for me. As if your father taught you to keep your head, aim, squeeeze, and you will hit the mark. You are one heckuva shot.

Gotta keep breathing, in and out. I think this says a lot more than may be seen. A lifes lesson in there somewhere.
