Bright Candles in a Dark Room

Bright Candles in a Dark Room

A Poem by Spit_and_Prayers
"

I wrote this after I had a date with a very intriguing young woman. The relationship never went anywhere, but I still like the poem.

"
Lamp dims in a quiet room
As light grows from an inner womb
Found layered in the tale
In the wrappings of wood
Interesting interlocked laces
Woven to intricate faces

Stirring the sensation
of sagacious imagination
Falling back in sync with art
With a missed rhythm of time
Devining the strength of women
And the pleasant truth of good men

Phantasmic fabrications of fiction
Flit upon poetic addiction
Flows up in the cool breeze
Mingled with thoughts of autumn
They find with a sort of conviction
The peculiar light's within them

I love this piece. I like the way you have created such a beautiful painting through the use of words. This is a magnificent form of artistry.
