Hidden Misery

Hidden Misery

A Poem by Katherine
"

A sad poem

"

A silent rain lays behind her eyes

When night approaches, it begins to pour

There are people near, the rain quickly hides

A hidden shadow clings to her soul

When observing herself, it cloaks her talents

There are people around, the shadow creeps into it's hole

A small voice speaks in her mind

When in depression, it tells the false truth

There are people nearby. the voice isn't showing a sign

perceptions are always coloured by prevailing moods. A fit of the blues usually corrects itself. The act of writing it down in black and white often provides the cure
Nicely presented in well thought out poeticprose
