Prologue

 

 

 I am Sprit. I am Alpha female of my wolf pack. I formed this pack about a week ago. The moon goddess gave everyone in my pack the power to change into a wolf including me. I howl to the goddess every night thanking her. Those who join my pack also get the power to change after they prove themselves to me and the goddess, that they are worthy of the powerful gift. I am now searching for someone. I do not know who it is but I know he is a male for sure. The goddess spoke to me and told me that I have to go and find this male who needs to be part of my pack. She told me that we will encounter a lot of choices along the way and that we will encounter a lot of danger. I am ready for anything but this one lad I am seeking out should have been a part of my pack. Had I known whom it is I am searching for I would probably already have found him. I am happy in a way to go out and search for this lone Animungus Lupae. But I am a little worried of what I might find. So my journey begins….

I don't know your writing style yet, so you don't have to take anything (like you had to anyway :) ) I say into consideration, however...
A few ideas...
First, most of your sentences are choppy. You might consider revising to make your story flow better. Example- you said-
I am Sprit. I am Alpha female of my wolf pack. I formed this pack about a week ago.
Now, I would keep the first sentence as is, but combine the other two:
I am Sp(i)rit. I am the Alpha female of my wolf pack, newly formed about a week ago.
Just a suggestion.
In one sentence you use 'encounter' twice. I would suggest changing one of them to something else. You also use 'goddess' several times back to back in the beginning of the paragraph, but I don't know what you could change that to.
