Chapter 18 part 2 of Completed

They proceeded to the bumper cars. They each got their individual bumper car. Rie was racing towards Itsuki and shouted, “I am gonna get you!” Itsuki grinned and said, “I don’t think so!” He dodges but gets bumped by Eiko. She smirked and said, “Gotcha ya! It was all part of our plan.” Itsuki yelled, “That’s not fair! You two ganged up on me!” Eiko and Rie laughed. Suddenly, Eiko felt a thump. She turned around saw Hiroyuki. Hiroyuki had a smug face and said, “I bet this wasn’t in your plan.” Eiko started to felt competitive. She started to chase him around the track but he manages to get away every time.

After the bumper cars, they went to the haunted house. Rie kept screaming at every jump scare and clinged on Eiko. Eiko, Hiroyuki and Itsuki were unimpressed. When they got out of the haunted house, Rie said, “I can’t believe that didn’t scare you. I was the only one that got scared.” Eiko said, “If it scares you that much, we didn’t have to go to the haunted house.” Rie said, “I know… I just didn’t want to ruin everyone’s fun.” Hiroyuki said, “It was my fault. I should have asked if you wanted to go.”

Rie shake her head and said, “Even though it was scary for me, I was still happy to go in. Because it was meaningful experience.” Those words made the three of them felt joy inside. Itsuki said, “The teacups are next. That should cheer you up.” Rie nodded and said, “It’s one of my favorite rides.” Itsuki smiled and said, “Well more of a reason to go!”

They went on the teacup rides. Itsuki and Rie were in one teacup. Hiroyuki and Eiko were in another one. They were spinning the wheel to make the teacup spin in circles. Rie had the biggest smile on her face and her eyes lit up. Itsuki couldn’t stop looking at her. Her joyful expression made his heart melt. His lips kept smiling. Eiko kept staring at the two and ask, “Does Itsuki like Rie or something?” Hiroyuki said, “What makes you say that?” She said, “I am no love expert but I can see how happy he is by seeing her smile. No guy ever smiled like that towards Rie before.”

He said, “That’s true but when you say like, what does that mean? Is it liking someone as a friend or more than that?” She looked up at the sky. She sees the clouds moving slowly in the wind. She was thinking for a moment. She said, “I guess more than a friend?” He chuckled a bit and said, “You sound unsure about your answer.” Her eyebrows moved closer together and pursed her lips. She started to feel a bit annoyed. She grunted, “Sorry if I am clueless about these kind of things.”

His smile changed to neutral. He said, “I didn’t mean to make fun of you. Sorry, if it came off like that.” She look at him and said, “I know.” The ride stopped and the employee asked everyone to get off. Eiko got off quickly. Hiroyuki started to feel a bit bad and said in his head, “Why do I keep messing up?” He gets off and follows the others. Eiko and Rie sit down on a nearby bench. Itsuki said, “We should take a little break.” Hiroyuki nods and said, “Do you want me to get any drinks?”

Eiko replied, “I want some milk tea.” Rie said, “I want orange juice.” Itsuki said, “Just a bottle of water for me.” Hiroyuki nodded and was about to get drinks. Suddenly, a female voice called out. She said, “I never thought I would run into you today.”
