Oculus

Oculus

A Poem by James Wilson

I've wondered for such a long time,
why you smiled when I'd forgotten,
running man with your smiling burn...

Black and white doors slam all around me...

Column to spear that sunlight,
and bring down rain from boiling clouds,
I've been missing now for far too long...

Black and white doors slam all around me...

Under English midnight sleeping,
in grey and black and everywhere you look,
there you'll find another piece of me...

Black and white doors slam all around me...
