Life seems meaningless in a world full of disappointment

You feel so down that just waking is difficult

Why is it that happiness is like a dream

Can you really be awake

It has to be a nightmare

 

How can you tell when you feel so numb to everything

Life's simple joys don't have any effect

Should you give in or keep fighting

Does it matter what you do

If when you fight you don't win

 

The morning comes and all you see is another dreary day

The night comes and all you see is nothing

When will you wake from this nightmare

When will your sorrow end

Will it ever end
