Wonder Days

Wonder Days

A Poem by XxKooperxX
"

Just something that I wrote when I was around 14 or so. Enjoy.

"

Day by day I think of ways to live

But night by night I put it off too late.

Counting the moments I sit in my room

Wondering "I could of been on a date."

Or something to kill this wasted time.

But who would ever date me?

Let's be a little realistic.

I'm not the best looking guy in town

Nor the richest, unlike your last three boyfriends

But at least I still have my health, that's something right?

It's safe to say there's not a lot going on for me.

I should just dust off my converse and walk out

into whatever the scene has left for me, not a lot I see.

At least it's better than sitting at home wondering

How I should spend the rest of my day.

Now these days I still wonder

But not quite as often.

About tomorrow or what has been forgotten.

I need to give my mind a rest.

Time to start counting sheep.
